Each team will receive a four (4) game guarantee
The official rules will be the National Federation High School (NFHS) rules for the current year, except where modified by the AAU Boys’ and Girls Basketball Rule Book.
Rosters must be submitted before playing first game.
For teams that have chosen to organize on the basis of the athletes grade, and who have players who do not meet the age eligibility criteria for age based teams, the AAU provides grade based competition as follows:
2nd/3rd Grade – An athlete must be in the 3rd grade or below as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2024
4th Grade – An athlete must be in the 4th grade or below as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2024
5th Grade – An athlete must be in the 5th grade or below as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2024
6th Grade – An athlete must be in the 6th grade or below as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2024
7th Grade – An athlete must be in the 7th grade or below as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2024
8th Grade – An athlete must be in the 8th grade or below as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 15 on August 31, 2024
Girls - 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th,
All players have their current AAU membership card and have a copy of a legal BIRTH CERTIFICATE available if requested.
Teams must have light and dark jerseys
Play starts at 8am on 6/27/24.
Registration
Team registration will be held on June 26th. Exact registration times will be posted approximately one week prior to the start of the Championships.
Late registration will be held on June 27th. Teams registering on June 27th must be present a minimum of 2 hours before their first game.
ALL COACHES AND ATHLETES MUST BE PRESENT AT REGISTRATION.
Each team will be required to bring copies of AAU cards (including coaches) and a copy of a legal birth certificate.
Practice
Each team will be scheduled 1 hour of practice on June 26th. Times will be posted approximately one week prior to the start of the tournament. Additional practice times will be available throughout the tournament for a nominal fee.

From I-75 South / North - Take exit 24 toward Hamilton onto OH-129 W(Butler County Veterans Hwy). Go for 10.5 miles. Continue on High St (OH-129 W). Then 0.6 miles. Turn right onto N Martin Luther King Jr Blvd (US-127). Then 0.7 miles. Turn left onto Black St. Then 0.3 miles.
Coaches Meeting
A Coaches Meeting will be held on June 26th. The Meeting will be held at the Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill Complex. Exact time and location will be posted approximately one week prior to the start oof the Championships. It is expected at least one coach from each team will attend Coaches meeting.

Uniforms
a. 1. Players’ jerseys must have numbers on both the front and back.
2. Numbers can be 0, 00-99.
3. Minimum size of numbers shall be 2″ on the front and 4″ on the back.
4. Teams competing in World Championship tournaments must have Light and Dark jerseys.
5. Home wears Light jerseys and Visitor wears Dark jerseys.
6. The top/left team on the schedule shall be the home team and sit on the scorekeepers’ left.
7. The bottom/right team on the schedule shall be the visiting team and sit on the scorekeepers’ right.
8. Violations of Section G shall be penalized by a two (2) shot administrative technical foul for each illegal jersey. The penalty will be assessed at the time the player with the illegal jersey enters the game.
